Antimicrobial Research (KPV + LL-37)

Two peptides from the host-defence research literature.

KPV is a tripeptide fragment of alpha-MSH studied for anti-inflammatory pathways. LL-37 (cathelicidin) is the principal human cathelicidin antimicrobial peptide. Researchers study them together in innate-immunity study designs that probe overlap between anti-inflammatory peptide research and antimicrobial-peptide research.
